you can upgrade your dash to latest by trying to go on live with just about any new game (even if you dont have an account)

if you want to find out which version you have, go into system info, its at teh end of the list in settings. Then it will come up with xbox game system by MS, bulshit, copyright, etc...

Wait a miniute and you will get somthing like this:

k:1.00.5003.06
d:1.00.4920.02

ok so forget about the k, that is your kernal version. the d is your dash version. So the one that i posted the version will be 4920
