I posted this on the official D2G forums, but maybe here, someone is having the same problem (or maybe you dont know that you have one)
I found what it might be a bug (or a tragic coincidence). After I used the FTP patch for version 2.3, (or maybe when I upgraded to 2.3) My third controller port stop working.
In fact, once Im in the dashboard, if I disconnect one controller (any) and I plug it again, it doesnt work. But the third one is dead since 2.3.
Oh! Ive just remeber something and Ive tried a moment ago. Dash2Gam is my default dashboard, BTW. Here is another weird thing (which make me believe that is a software issue, not hardware). If I turn on my console with a controller pluged to the third port, it doesnt work as I mentiones earlier, AND if I go to the dashboard Saves screen it appears as 3 or more memory cards were connected. It only happens when something is plugged to the third port.
Any help, advice?
Ive tried booting with another dashboard, But no luck. I guess, somehow, D2G screwed some files from the original Dashboard, so...till, I borrow an original dashboard from a friend, I can tell.
