Default.xbe Reassighn How Please?

Ok here is the thing I just recently picked up a patched/hacked version of CDX menu I know it is patched/hacked because when I loaded it in my XBOX HD it showed up on my menu screen as the name of the game it was assign to. I want to know how this was possible please because I like to get back to doing multi games disks again and I like them to show up in the HD drive as the name of the games they assign to. In others words what I am trying to figure out is how did this CDX menu that I picked up some where on the net, remain to show up in my list of games in my HD as the name of the game and not "CDX MENU" like it normally does when I use it. Please sorry in advance if I broke any rules in what I said here in this post but can you please help me? ThX!
