is there anyway to make make xboxdash progressive and inerlaced..like how most games are how it would auto detect from your settings?

yes, the newest xbox live dash just press in both thumbsticks and it goes to 480p
but you'd be better off getting an alternate dash

i already use unleashx, but i hate how the original dash doesn't use progressive so i have to change the cables running to my projector

well as i just said the newest dash has progressive scan 480

For the original ms xbox dashboard, open xboxdash.xbe in a hex editor:

Search for: C7 46 28 20 00 00 00
Replace with: C7 46 28 40 00 00 00, for progressive only
Replace with: C7 46 28 00 00 00 00, for auto selection; this auto switches to progressive scan when your hooked up to a progressive enabled monitor, or it will do interlace when hooked up to a interlace only tv. IMO, this is the best one.

yes but try and disable your chip after hacking a stock mod and see what happens

ya, but i made a backup called iboxdash.xbe. i know it won't boot.. but i can always just overwrite the original

or youcould even make a copy called pboxdash.xbe or whatever you wanted and just leave your original xboxdash.xbe alone... just make pointers to pboxdash where you want to load the ms dashboard..... atleast i think that should work... i could be wrong

well if you have xbox live just connect to xbox live with chip off
dunno if any newer games have the latest dash on them yet or not
