Actually its genuinly because i cant pick which i like best between them, theyre by far the best 2 dashboards compared to the others, thats without shadow of a doubt. Would be nice if mxm had a file browser though, thats my only gripe with it right now.

Ahhh so you can read minds?  laugh.gif No offence but just because someone prefers MXM to UnleasX doesn't mean they are stupid, just that they have their own opinions. Hell i am sure if everyone went around shouting 'mXm 15 The b35t' then everyone would vote MXM in this pole... most of it is propagander of sorts...
I prefer MXM for one reason: I feel it is the best dashboard.

I'm kind of new at this modding stuff(I installed EvoX just two weeks ago).  So I'm going with EvoX.  Very Easy and simple!  Good features!

My only problem with MXM is that whenever you add anything you have to reset the cache....very annoying....and it takes too long to load....but, all dashes are great in their own way.....EVOX is the most basic however.  dry.gif

But overall, 99% of the time I have MXM running on my xbox.  The generator skin is just so money.  I know UnleashX is known for its skin, but I have yet to see one that truly grabs me; if anyone wants to recommend one thatd be cool.  Plus, as was previously stated, from the threads I've read it seems like the next MxM release is going to blow everything else out of the water.

Well for the biscos out there, simplist way ,,and im sure for all of  the peep that have not tried ALL of the dashes,, put down all the feats of other dashboards that evox doesnt have,, and in that case the feats evox has that some others dont 8-0

smile.gif.  mxm is very powerful in the customization and configuration department, but as another ben said 'with great power comes great responsibility' and it can be very frustrating when trying to, uh, unleash the power it holds.

unleashx is currently my default, daily dash.  lots of utilities (that i use everyday), high stability, easy config, and elegantly designed look and operation make it the best elbow in this asshole's opinion.  although i do also anxiously await future developments with mxm and will probably write some more actionscripts when the code settles down and i have a personal need/desire for one, i predict that unleashx will remain my default dash as my desires for the development of mxm tend to be totally opposite of others who are active in mxm's forum.  i voted for unleashx.

now if you read all that, maybe i cured your insomnia too!

I think that the direction MXM is going is just fine. As it's been stated before MXM offers more customization possibilities then any other dash. While BIOS flashing would be nice, it's not really on my list of must haves for MXM, because flashing your BIOS is only done every so often. If at all.

Each dashboard does indeed have it owns bells and whistles. But for me MXM is the creme of the crop. I've never had it lock up on me, aside from when I testing a new action script.  

Then there is the human side of things, BJ is one man working on this all by himself.  And he's takes into consideration all the other dashes (Encouraging someone to make a skin converter).  And trying to get things like the "Orb" in MXM so skins can can be converted to and from.  You don't see the other dashes going to these lengths. (cept Ava and their BoostMode but thats note really the same.)

While Avaluanch has IRC and Telnet,  it's not really practical without a Keyboard, not to mention it's hard on the eyes seeing how tv resolutions suck compared to a pc. I'm not bashing Avalaunch though, just staing an opinion here.
