Screen calibration.
Eeprom safe video modes.
Stable and fast ftp.
Download game saves, manage game saves.
Partition formatting within dash.
Copy disc function - rarely use DVD2Xbox now.
Great file manager and text editor (edit your config.xml in UnleashX itself, edit my XBMC xml in UnleashX without needing to ftp back and forth!). Have a few FAQs and Walkthroughs that I can quickly view in the dash when "stuck" in a game *sigh*.
Latest version very stable. beerchug.gif
And lots lots more...

Along with XBMC, this is the perfect set-up for me.

You guys should really try 2GAM, it's a really nice dash, and runs pretty sweet! biggrin.gif

I'm using it as an backup dash to manage saved games (yeah i know UnleashX can do this) and to show off to frends of mine wink.gif
The best dash is UnleashX imo biggrin.gif

How about instead of just seeing your fav dash... would it be possible to have your initial skin randomized from ones on your HD... so, basically each time you boot up, you might get Unleash or evoX or Avalaunch etc... Not unlike StyleXP for winxp,  now that would be cool!

MXM has always had that ability.

QUOTE (tommyam @ Aug 1 2004, 03:32 PM)
^^^ Thx, I found the random skin option within MXM... taking that one step further, is there a way to randomly launch from different dashes? Like if my favs are evox, avalaunch, MMX and NextGen, I'd like to have it randomly pick one of them each time i boot up, seems like x-switch would offer this but I don't see that it does, any other way to accomplish it?... thx

X-Select could probably be modified to "mix up" the dashes on boot up, but nobody's ever asked for that before.

evox, unleashx, and avalaunch are popular because they are easily loaded from any drive, without having to hex edit...

MXM, THC, 2Gam have to be loaded from the C:\ drive...which is inconvenient to me because my dashboard folder is in my F:\ drive, and i plan to keep it there

you forgot nexgen

seriously though i dunno why people still think they need to boot their startup dash from anywhere but the root of c, there is no reason that it needs to be anywhere else
ms isn't going to scan your c partition
you have space free on c that won't be used by anything alse anyway
c partition is made for the dashboard
people need to ditch the paranoia

With features for all users, noobs and pro, and many features and skins easy to use because of all the built in features, I am Avalaunch all the way.
