ok im starting a petition.

i love neXgen and i think it is the best dash still.

if you like neXgen and want to help bring it back into development, them please reply to this thread with ONLY possitive responses.

if you are oppose, then do not reply, we need no jerks badmouthing this amazing dash.

if you post something negative, i will request that a mod remove your comment, so save my, and the mods time.

ok here goes.....

i totally want neXgen to come back, to beat Evolution X, MXM, and Avalaunch.

you were off to such a great start, please dont stop now.

there are so many people who support neXgen.

Please continue development of neXgen for me and the hundreds of other neXgen supporters, dont let a few jerks turn you away from such great project.

It was of to a great start, but that was a long time ago.  I dont belive a petition will do anything mate, when was the last time you heard an official update on the project?

BJ has told us the reasons Nexgen is no longer in development, I think the best you can hope for is seeing the 3D work being used elsewhere.

all of the source code has been released so others can play with it - the main coder just got bored with the noob lamers bashing an alpha release as not working correctly  dry.gif

That's good news. I take it it's in "The Usual Places"? I've been sitting on the code because I expected undead or somebody else to give the word if/when it was going to be released. I'll take a scan when I get home to see where it's popped up; if it is truly released, I'll make sure it's posted at #xbins (not the stuff I have, but the 'released' set). wink.gif

MXM has been open source since day one (even if you don't want to consider XBMP a true 'dashboard')

Well since XdashOs Was going 2 be a replica of Nexgen We have decided 2 implement what we have done into nexgen & release it Under the name of Nexgen (Gota repect the coder)
