I voted Avalaunch .. but haven't tried MXM .. going to now and see how it is.....

so i thought as im testing new stuff out, i tried Avalaunch
and was instally impressed, i spent like a fraction of the time setting it up ..
it automaticlly found thumbs for me games and made it into a rotatiog cube ..
the GUI was VERY clear and easy to read ... the more i set it upo the more i like it
and with all the new stuff thats coming out 4 it (like the diskcheacker now) its really promising also ive not had one crash ..
not even had to go rooting for skins,thumbnails, or vid previews.
as the one it comes with is very good genric skin one that could be very live-able !
and it finds its own thumbs from the xbe !!!

so i think its mainly the first impressions that win ya over and MXM comes with lets face it compared to its main rival a crap skin, and is not user friendly on its initail set up !
Avalunch more or less works staight outer the zip .. !!

and as for xbmp.. i really have been using this a lot not sure if it realy merits as a dash ?? more playing required !
and evox well thats always got EVERYTHING, and it NEVER crashes ..
like  pair of old slippers, it just WORKS !!

Kay tried XMX .. Basic setup is not hard -- pretty easy.
And i suppose if I wanted to I could set up media's pretty easy as well...XMX_Entry.XML files look fairly straightforward.  Although I can't understand why anyone would want vids of games, ect taking up room on the HDD...I guess for some reason if you want to watch your dashboard and got "Isn't that neat" but that novelty would soon where off.......
All in all I like the look of it with certain skins as a basic launcher....

But like Avalaunch better, mainly because of  the File manager, that sets it miles apart from anything else out there....

MXM is a cool launcher though if I wanted to make my Xbox look impresive with vids, ect , all user preference..and all 3 main dash,s have there audience.

- Sex is also a waste of time, seen from your point of view. So is watching TV and playing your football... Hell, everything everyone does is a waste of time.

Beats me why you think developement is a waste of time - you seem to enjoy the fruits of it.

whoever thinks evox will reign supreme in 3 months has lost there minds. i voted for mxm because i think it kicks ass, and you get support for it right when you need it. (aka benjeremy)
