I agree with Lucas on the size. Nexgen is like 8 megs and takes forever if your drive is full. Evox is much quicker. So far we have:
- ftp client
-skin browser
-defrag
-rip cd's
-rip dvd's (137 limit? 2.2 terabytes?)
-timely loading of dash
-text editor
-voice activation (dude, were you kidding)
-functional appearance of MS dashboard
-password protection
-control of background music
-customizable animated background
-native file management
-full networking capability
-web browser/email client
-And I'd like ability to change audio, video mode,
-all features of config magic (wow what an app)
-pictures of games
-Alphabetical list of games
-saves info(like original dash)
-All features of evox(great ftp, nice smooth feel)
-look and feel of ms dash(nexgen shines here of course)
-way to view gamesizes on drive
-connect the music function of the original xbox dash. Somehow have that kind of music function that original ms dash has, to the dashboard. Like an option in a music player that allows you to set the music into the dash. Hmm, wish i could explain that more clearly.
-the ability of your xbox to go to your fridge and get you a brew
-defrag ability (needed? not needed?...heard both sides...what do you think?)
-a specific link to xbox media player...this i think because it is the single most used app on the xbox.
-a running list of everyone who contributed to all of the apps, emus,.....everything in a scrolling movie like presentation. When someone makes an app, or contribution then they register it after being confirmed and their name appears on the running list. I think i would be surprised to see how many great people have contributed, and they deserve some sort of recognition. (some will say its gay but i think they should be recognised).
