At first I thought NexGen was pretty cool, and I was going make it my default dash and have it link to my EvoX dash.

After changing some stuff in my evox.ini I uploaded it to the xbox thru nexgen's ftp. I opened the evox.ini file again and it just displayed corrupt characters thru most of the evox.ini contents!!! WTF!!

I had just perfected my evox.ini menu!! I had so much stuff in there and now it is all gone!! =(

Now I am keeping EVOX... nexgen is definitely not ready!
However, I will try future versions of nexgen after all the bugs are fixed, and AFTER I backup my shit.

Had you read about the software before installing it you'd know that the nexgen dash's ftpd is in bad shape at the moment and corrupts data, and therefor should not be used.

Regardless, you should always back up everything before making any changes.

What applies to your PC the same thing applies to the XBox.
