Had a quick play with the fonts, there is a common-720pfont14 which I tried instead of common-font14, and also I tried special-bold instead of special-bold-pal, in case the other was more suited to NTSC...

But it hasn't made a whole heap of difference. I'm inclined to think it's the way UnleashX scales things...?

I don't know if there is much more I or you can do. I notice also the filemanger is not quite aligned correctly in 720p.
