so can only xbox developers make actual xmv videos or can anyone get programs to convert to xmv for skins?

any body can if you have the software. its located aroung the unleashx dir in the usual places

But just use wmv8 it works just as good

yeah i was just wondering because xmv is used in xbox games and thought msybe it as impossible to get the stuff

xmv files are basically just wmv8 files with a changed header structure and a few other things
You will still need to convert your video in wmv8 and then convert it to xmv anyway so unless you worry about people being able to reuse video its best to stick to wmv8
