I've got the basic layout down. Just need to work on the buttons. Hopefully it won't take me long but who knows.

Will do. The problem is the buttons. Those take a while. For some strange reason, they don't line up properly. I'll keep working on it though. If I can't figure it out, I'll just post the stuff here so you can download it and maybe mess with it yourself.

EDIT: Almost forgot, the circle in the middle doesn't have the glare highlight to it. I made the background light blue like the color of a crystal display. You can change that yourself too if you want.

I'm done with it. Just wondering what sort of playlist window you want. The graphic basically. Or is the default ok?

Well, here is a pic of the AP Skin. Keep in mind that there is no random/mute buttons or volume/progress bars. It also uses the default playlist window so if you change any colors in it, it will change those as well. I'll try to look at improving it but if anyone cares to try, be my guest.

Also, if anyone with good photoshop skills would like to add a glare highlight or shadow to the cover, that would be great. Makes it more 3D or something.

To use it, COPY what's in this skin.xml into your skin.xml. Don't overwrite your skin.xml file. Transfer all the graphic/font files into the skin zip or directory. Enjoy!

Jus added it to my skin

. im liking the default right noiw but knowing me i won't be satisfied with it for long. on the right side of the player, that black thing, could you somehow add the volume right there. Is that possible?

A little off topic but i was wondering if somebody could help me with this; The skin im putting together (more like 'cut and paste') has an issue with the file manager where the words wont go in to the box that im using has the file manager picture. I mean the "c,d,e,f..." stuff is outside the file manager pic so im wondering do i have to change to align them into the right spot?

I was thinking the same thing but I don't think it's possible since that's vertical and the buttons are set horizontally. I'm guessing it could be added at the top where it says compact disc in the picture. You can't see the words onscreen but I'm sure some sort of volume bar can be set there.

Yea thats a good idea actually, try it and see how it works; besides, it feels wierd with out the volume bar IMO.....Don't mind that file manager question, its just early morning stupid kicking in.

Because of the way the new build of UX places items in the AP window, this may scew with the button placement. I'll check when I get home today. Hopefully I'll have added volume/porgress bars and mute/random buttons somehow.

. For some reason im having problems with skin that im making showing the player. I copied and pasted the info in the xml from the player to the skin.xml and for some reason it didnt show up. It works for all the other skins I tested it with

Updated the AP Skin for the new build. Made all items relative so you can move the main window around in the skin.xml without messing up buttons, cover pics, etc. I also took out the cover and replaced it with the original. That way it has a nice 3D flare effect and looks like the first pic at the top of the thread. Added a volume bar at the top. Wanted to progress bar there instead and the volume on the side but couldn't do because of the way the volume bar would be drawn. You would see the volume go up and down but it would show outside the circle too. Also added random/mute buttons too under the regular buttons. I had to make those by hand so I hope they don't look too bad. No progress bar yet but you all ready have the song time showing so I don't think it's a big deal. Would appreciate any feedback. I have others in a WIP state.

If anyone can tell me how the resolution is using this AP Skin on their tv, that would be great.
