hey when i installed rc1a and rc1c i got an error about the font tahoma. i think thats what it was called. it said it was protected by windows but your program still seems to work. keep it up mayne.  cool.gif

Thats normal if you have your fonts folder protected.

You can maximize the screen, if it still doesnt fit on your screen, then set your monitor's resolution to a higher/lower one. Other than that, I cant help you. UXA uses exact placement of items, I cannot make the 640x480 (or other resulotions) larger than what it really is. the preview is a 1:1 ratio. What you see is what you get.  I will not change this. Sorry.

maybe i am doing something wrong but i cannot get UXA to open the skin i created last night. i saved my project last night and this morning i go to open it and it gives an error saying " A Graphics object cannot be created from an image that has an indexed pixel format."

i was using png files some that i edited/created and i saved them as none interlaced. it is probably my fault or something i am doing wrong. if i try to open the project from the first page it just sits there if i hit continue but if i say new project and then open the file it opens it but all my text items and environment stuff like the menu seem to have disappeared.  blink.gif  thanks.

I hope thats not the issue, I never seen this error before. Just an FYI. your uxa project files (yourskin.uxa) is really just a zipfile. You can open it up and check the image. Replace it with an interlaced image. Whats reall weird is if UXA loaded it the first time and saved it, it should be able to re-open it. UXA does NOT alrter you images in anyways. All UXA does is copy it to a temp folder, no grafic manipulation at all to that file. Please send me that project file, I would love to mess with it and test it.

EDIT>> I had to double check this, but I recalled that MXMSkinner5 had a similar issue with interlaced png's. I just tried making an interlaced and non interlaced png image in photoshop8, but uxa reloaded them both fine multiple times. So im not sure if it was a specific setting you chose, I need that project file, or png

EDIT>> It had nothing to do with the image itself. Its was a UXA Bug. Its fixed.
