The warning says:

The current skin you are using caused Unleashx to lock on startup.

Please fix this skin to avoid this problem.
You can safely ignor this message and reboot to apply your current skin.

WTF!? is this. I was using the Vista skin and I have the current version of UnleashX. This message appeard as I shut it down and restarted it.
Nothing changed but I did have a bit of a tech problem. I was replacing my case and I somehow dissconected the fan when I put it back together I didnt know this so about 15 minutes later it shut down. I hooked the fan back up turned the XBOX back on and set the fan right away to the highest it could be set to cool things down.
I also now have funny white spots scrolling in a funny way on black screens.
What is going on now?
Thanks.

well lets see, you left the cpu fan unplugged for 15 mins and your xbox shut off due to cpu overheat protection, now you wonder why you get white spots on the screen, lets hope you didn't fry anything...turn it off, let it cool for a while, since the xbox is small theres not much room for that heat to go...

I have had that error b4, it seems to occur when the skin causes the xbox to lock up or least thats what I gather from my exp with it, and as for the your display showing white spots we can only hope that nothing too major was damaged as for what may cause it I dont know sorry

Thanks it has not gave that message again yet. Is it just some random thing?

As for the spots,..... DUHHHHH!!!! It is interference from the XBOX.

I was replacing my case for a different black case. I got something on mine that that made the finish all funny so I took the top off of a friends case that switched to a XCM case. While I was doing that I figured "well I am getting a clear case and it would be nice to just take out the shield now so I can actually see things inside".

Well that is what caused the spots and it don't seem to be as bad as it was at first. I can live with it as long as it don't hurt anything in the long run. It only does it on black screens between loading and I use this XBOX mostly for media anyway. God I don't even remember when the last time I played a game on it even was.

Thanks!

I'm glad you figured it out, however I have a clear case as well and I removed only the top shield and I haven't had any visual interference, one thing I recommend however it may not change a thing is on the power/eject pcb put some electrical tape over the metal parts only on the back of tho of course, sometimes that may cause a short if the shielding touches the metal contacts on the pcb, like I said it may not change a thing tho it is a good precaution to take

The error message you received is no real biggie, it happens occasionally with some skins that have large files to load.  Just load the skin again like normal and everything should be fine.
