i forgot to say that went i put a copy game it loads just fine and i can
play tha game...
but no ftp access...

have u tried running the boot disk ? if not try that it shood boot back to unleashx then just try agen and agen

what do you mean by boot disk? the cd with the unleashx on it??
I tried that several times with different brands of cd's and dvd's...but no luck.

Is there any way to connect my xbox hard disk (120GB) to the pc so I can
fix the problem...I am a bit desperate here...i tried total 8 cds and dvds...and no luck...
I am thinking that the problem is elsewhere....
pls help me a bit.

Thanks for ur patience. I download slayers 2.6 today and i burned another two cdr+rw
no progress...

I don't know what to think...it load copy games just fine...why it can't read the damn cd.

Ok can someone point me to a good tutorial on how to hot swap the xbox hard disc to a pc so i can
change the files that i messed up??

As far as I know you jsut plug it in like any other HDD.

I'm not sure if that it's true. I think that first you boot off the xbox and you hot swap
the disk to the pc...
pls someone correct me if i'm wrong

Did the same thing just the other day mate/. I'm not very clued up on the different types of exploits but using Splinter Cell and a linux profile explot: Boot up your game and open the Linux profile. Restore MS Backup from it, then reinstall Softmod, then UnleashX. Sorted. I'm about to post a thread on exactly how to make XBMC your default dash becuase trying that tutorial made me almost brick my box.

OK I'm not alone! Can you please explain me a bit more what i have to do?
I just downloaded the splinter cell exploit from the known place...
now should i get the game as well? and then do what?

Can you access the MS dash board? If not you cant transfer the game save files anyway so don't bother doing the exploit over again unless you have all the files on the XBOX still from the first time. If so just place in the game itself and do it just like you are soft modding from the beginning only starting on that step..

Try AID, burn it on a disc ( CD-RW should be fine but if you have one to waste try a DVD just incase also ) and boot it up but give it a few minutes to boot. If it is loading backups then it should work. Try putting the disc in and shutting it down for a few seconds then start it up with the power button.

If that don't work the INTERNET is full of how to's for using xboxhdm.

People just have to be patient with these installer discs. They take a few moments till they boot so don't be discouraged right away.

Let me ask you something. Currently in the xbox I've a 100Gb hard disk.
Which I formatted with unleashx but I don't recall that I locked it.
That means that if i put in my pc it would read it? or I'll have to unlock it first?
I'm asking this because i saw somewhere that some modchips don't require the hard disks
to be locked...

Do you have a mod chip? If you do ( I thought I read that you were attempting a softmod exploit ) then you should be cool period.

Then it dont need tobelocked but you cant go on XBOX live.
