Unable To Copy Files To C:\

Hi all.
My problem : When i connect my xbox to my laptop through a crossover cable and acsess the files folders on xbox with my PC, i cannot put files to C:\.
I want to put dash files there which i downloaded, so i can make MS Dashboard work.
I am EXTREMLY(!) new to this.

are you using flash fxp? if not i highly recomend it.  i had that problem when i used dos, so i downloaded flashfxp and it worked fine.
