well if u got a softmod you can remove it completely but if you got a modchip (you can still remove unleashx completely) but the chip will obviously still be there and i dont think ebay allows selling moded xboxs (im assuming your selling it on ebay)... so basically you will get less cash cause of that.... since u wont be able to say it has a modchip which sucks sad.gif lol

either way i dont think you really have to "hide" anything just sell it like it is since it still acts like a normall xbox... just dont say it's moded on ebay when you sell it... and i highly doubt anyone will complain if they see it's moded.... just be sure to remove ALL games and emulators etc so it's all legal wink.gif ... just leave the UnleashX dashboard on it and the rest of it stock.

Modchip: Delete all non-stock files/folders in C, E and F/G roots, and then desolder the chip

TSOP: Kinda up a creek there... Care to reflash using an MS kernel?  Then do as above.

Softmod: Well, we needn't address that as you've surely read the pinned topic about softmods and topicality here, right? wink.gif

I personally would never sell my chipped xbox.  It's a media hub for me.
I guess the only thing you can do is take it back to where you got it chipped and get it removed, but remember to delete anything that shouldn't be on there first.

exactly! wink.gif ... the xbox i think i will be using for a long time cause of this... unless of course XBox360 gets hacked and can run a XBMC type program.

theres some nice games on XBox1 but when is all said and done i can see me using XBMC for years pretty much.... cause of my XviD video collection.
