Burning Data To A Dvd
« on: February 13, 2007, 01:29:00 PM »

Thanks for saving me the trouble of making a new topic!

I'm having the exact same problem- let me be a little more specific so whomever wants to help us has a better idea of what's going on.

I'm running Unleash X on a softmodded xbox with the 5960 dash, and it has the .67 patch.
I have data on a DVD but when I put it in, in both File Explorer and dvd2xbox the xbox simply freezes.  When I hit the eject button the system automatically restarts.

This problem sound familiar?  It can't be the brand of DVD because I have other info on them that works fine.  Its just that I had this info on another xbox, ftp'd it to my PC, burnt it to DVD and now this.

Well, I have UnleashX v. 38. As soon as the DVD is in the drive it freezes. Once, it auto-booted Remote-X. I have no idea what that is, and that wasnt on the disc.

I would love to know why this is the case as well because I have tried constantly to install Mandriva Linux onto it (the installation thing is on a data dvd), but it just freezes like everyone elses.

this aint really a direct answer to your questions... but u ever try loading that disc through XBMC instead of UnleashX? ... try this and see what happens... if it works then it must be a issue with UnleashX.
