not a noob, couldn't find this thru search.

i ran into a box that had this problem about a year ago, but the skins didn't matter so much back then, so we just agreed to let it go.

2 days ago, i ran into it again.  Modded an xbox with Krayzie's NDure 1.1.1 AMOC Edition Beta 1.  Box was IDed as a 1.2/1.3.  UnleashX was installed as the dash, and the system took all the emulators and apps just fine.

while i was showing the guy the skins, i found that my normal "show off" skins were not working...in fact, they were hanging.

these skins tended to have animations in them, though one or 2 that didn't have animations also didn't work, and all skins were zipped.  i couldn't find any of the files unzipped anywhere.  some skins without animations

i'm at a total loss right now.  anyone know what would cause these problems?

I know this may sound dumb but did you try them unzipped since you said they were all zipped

I was having trouble with a few skins even showing up on my box. I toyed around and found out that if I unzipped into the root directory of the skin, versus going through two folders, that it worked fine. EX:

Instead of /E/dash/Skins/Aladdin Extreme UnleashX/Aladdin_Extreme_UnleashX/
(which is where the Aladdin files were originally placed.)
to copy all the files to
/E/dash/Skins/Aladdin Extreme UnleashX/

Then is shows up, and is all peachy dandy. However, I doubt this is the solution for your problem, but I figured I might as well throw it out there...you know...just in case.
