What IS auto-installer deluxe. would it replace my unleash X?

On the point of XBMP, I could only find the source code (Im not a genius coder!) What the heck do I do with that?

all I want to do is play my dvd's. I dont understand. I put in halo 2, turnoff system, then turn it back on, and the game runs perfectly. If I do the same thing with a DVD, it goes to the Unleash dashboard, and if I try start DVD, it just sits in a loading screen. Can I not use the original dvd thingy that worked before i did the unleash X thing?

no - during my reading of these and other boards , there apparently is a way, but it's pretty complicated.

get XBMC (not xbmp, thats the old one) or Yamp, or Dvdx2, place it in your apps folder, and you can play your dvds off there

if you are really at a loss, go here : <a href='http://aid.** Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents **.com/xbox-downloads.html' target='_blank'> , download a.i.d. v2 with the 2.1, update. it`s a kind of boot disc. burn the iso, stick it in your xbox, and you can re-install the original ms dashboard, your choice of hacked dash, all the applications like media centre, dvd player.. it`s all there.. good luck matey.

I woudl suggest trying to get your msdash workgin correctly.

I fyou post a pic of what your c drive looks like i can help you out in gettting that working again, so you can use the remote, and not have to stuff around with XBMC. (Dvdx2 is a 'dongle free' player (dont need the remote)).

Depending on what youve softmodded your box with you should be able to access the MS DASH

1. If you did it with Krayzies installer, you will be able to access the dash.
2. If you did it with anything with shadowC you will be able to access the dash

Then you just need to access the unleashX DVD setting and put C:\xboxdash.xbe in or whatever the dash is.

use DVD Region X (no use of remote for dvd playback & multiregion..)
