Quick question: Im using the same ol' config i always use for the previous versions, should I make a new one for the new version (CLEAN INSTALL) or is it safe to stick with the old one? it won't cause any problems?

I noticed this too,it happens with the slideshow too. in fact i was just about to post it, anyways it definitely happens during ftp transfer cause the samething it happened to me. It would be cool if this thing had m3u playability so when i put my dvd mp3's in they can be played after each other or even random ( this would definitely make me replace xbmc as my dash 4 sure!)

Sorry, couldn't edit my previous post.

The ambient sound won't play at all, no matter if I set it to Off, Xbox, Costum or both. As you can already see in my sig, my xbox is softmodded. I used SID 1.01, so the BIOS i'm loading from my HDD is (IIRC) EvoX M8+. Perhaps it has to do with that, alltough the 543 build worked flawlesly.

when i tried to extract xbmc.zip (or rar)
something missing.... like:
kai-vectors.xml
keymap.xml
voicemasks.xml
XboxMediaCenter.xml
and other file

Ditto here about ambient sound not working.  I just took it as the skin being incompatible with this version of UnleashX, but it looks like this is a genuine issue.

Apart from that, top notch release.

For me, UX no longer shuts off automatically after the specified time in the settings. It stays stuck at the "Xbox will shut down in 30 seconds" screen.

3 bugs

screensaver stops when uploading next file (in boost mode?)

fadeout after (custom)MS-intro (with iND-Bios) makes X disappear too quick. (maybe an option to turn this off, previous version didnt have this feat.)

ambient audio doesnt work.


keep up the UX !!! it rocks hard!

Thanks for the report. All of those has been fixed already, except for the first one which is really by design, although it was improved, yet again.

FTP transferring will wake the system up if you are using the screensaver in slideshow or video mode.

I'm wrapping up a gift for mom.

hey men i've a problem, im using 0.37  i tried to use the live update feat but, after showing the 0.38 advise, i select update and it says "unable to retrieve data from the server" in "from:" space it shows only "..." and when i select to edit server the space is blank, does anybody knows what should i do?
