Its a common problem, i believe the config.xml has read only attributes so it cant be changed, delete it from the xbox and reboot, unleashx will create a new config.xml and allow you to change the skin properly.

This is only my guess that its "read only" but following those instructions will solve the problem.

no, modbox is right. Delete teh skin.xml file.

I just used Softmod Installer Delux v2.0 for a friend. I had the same problem so I went into the config.xml to manualy change it and noticed that the skin setting had been put in twice. This screws up the skin loader and it will always load the other entry.

You can fix it by deleting the config or editing it so that there is only one skin setting line in it.

I just hit A a shi* load of times lol.....then while it's loading i hit a and start. Stays for me....lol.
