 Yeah it's a U but kinda also an X as well. The actuall logo I submitted it the same design but it's clear so you can stick it anywhere and it blends in. I just gave the preview here a white glow to make it stand out.

Sinista: My brother was just screaming about the same thing. However, the difference would be that Javienns logo is ACE and Xerox logo looks retarded.

Because i sinerely hope your not implying that he ripped this idea from Xerox themselves, this "trick" has been used so many times before it's not even funny, the good thing in this case is that it still works.

Hats off mr javienn and don't cry 'bout the haters, what's important is havin' your life and health!  biggrin.gif

PS. I liked the first version better.. the cleaner the better..~uguu

Once I finished my logo I was worried it looked too familiar, then I realized it resembled the old Xerox one.  So I went scouring their site (www.xerox.com) and found that they have adopted a new plan simple text logo ("Xerox").

Although they do resemble each other, that is where it ends.  They are constructed using completely different fonts as a base, and in the end look very different.  I agree that their are similarities, which I had never intended to exist as I just made it and then noticed them, but in the end they are two seperate entities.

I think they are different enough to co-exist, but in the end, that is not my choice.  If koldfusion does not think it meets the contest rules than I will gladly withdraw it as an entry, but at this time I believe it does not infringe on anyone or any rules.

So kick-ass! My only "complaint", idea, request would be to remove the shadow. It would look even better without it, i think so anyway.. The chrome.. doesn't do it for me.. it personally hate chromed stuff.. But i have a feeling i'm the minority here wink.gif (make two versions.. pretty please)

Unless something is a blaitant rip, similar but seperate designs are allowed... So I should upload all entries to AXS when I receive them... I hope to keep the contest pages as up-to-date as possible throughout the course of the contest... Please read the rules though, as the MXM logo contest would have run smoother had people bothered to do so... I don't need a paragraph explanation of why you made the logo... Sorry, all I am is the messenger, I receive entries and upload them to their proper places...

EDIT:: Can a mod edit this thread or make an UnleashX Contest thread... Having the rules from the AXS contest page and such in the first post of the thread, then pin it... WOuld make it easy to find and help keep the contest organized.. Thanks

Also, a suggestion, you should recommend to HSDEMONZ adding a UnleashX SKinning and Development forum such as the MXM forum has... All skins could be posted there and tools such as UX Architect and UnleashX Config Maker and the like could be pinned there, would help clean up the forum abit...

The readme file that came with my dash (UnleashX) said :
