No, UnleashX has no coding for BIOS writing.  Maybe the Config.xml or game save for UnleashX got messed up.

Try editing the bios with xbtool and remove the dvd check..sounds like its looking for it and it not there for some reason..best of luck..if that dosnt work..i have no clue..ohh..wait..the normal bios works..ok dont have a clue..
