QUOTE (rake @ Mar 26 2004, 03:06 PM)
In config.xml I had paths for icons, which made my music skip when I wnet to a subdirectory.  I decided to remove the path, and jpg/ png files and just go to UDATA and put in the TitleImage.XBX that associates with the program I wanted.  This was somewhat of a pain, trying to figure out what folder was what, however it paid off.  No more skipping, and in fact the load time is MUCH faster.  This may help. (though it was quite time consuming)

somewhat off topic, does anyone know of an easy program that can determine UDATA/ TDATA folders?

Why go through all that trouble when you can have UX autodetect the game/app icon directly? You can also drop in custom icons/prev videos right into the game folder and have UX autodetect those as well.

The only icons I have a specified/custom folder for are the list entry icons like Games, Emulators, Apps, and so on...

UnleashX said icons greater than 32x32 will be downsized to that size, MaxKool said 128x128 is too small and the images had to be enlarged. What is the proper icon size?

Yah I took my icon resized it to 128X128 and when I browesed to look at it it looked pixilated and streched. Would Skin window size have anything to do with it?

The bullets are 32x32. If you want your image to look good on Orb, you can use 64x64 or 128x128 max. Anything bigger is a waste of resource and could slow down the dash. Embedded XBE images are 128x128.
