So you mean, evrytime you boot your Xbox, SmartxxOS is the first thing you'll see? Man, that must suck big time. Xenium was like this before, I'm not sure if it isn't now, but if I was the user, I'd hate that. I mean, I only wanted to see it if I instruct it too, or if I flip a dip switch. This was my same stand with Xenium OS before, as I mentioned in the XDashOS forum.

All mod chip were designed differently from one another, so my guest is that they need different instructions to perform their specific functions. Mike (of Xenium OS) provided the address and the instruction hence, the support for it, though untested as I don't have a Xenium chip. In order for me to be able to support different chips, I need to know the same thing.
In the same breath, jokko game me some info about chameleon, so I'll take a look at how I can leverage on it and include it as a feature of the dash. While chameleon can be considered an old chip by today, I believe a considerable number of Xbox owners still use them.
