how is the text in the menu arranged when using the default skin?

is it like a box or is it "formed" around the X logo?

goto the file manager, select a text file and press a press start and try to save it if that works then youve got the latest official release.

tri replaceing it agen, if it dosen't have the text editor it's not the new version.
also make sure the file you are booting to is the one you are replaceing

and if it just comes up in a normal "box" type menu...you have an older release...make sure you got it from a reliable source wink.gif

beerchug.gif got it apparently it wasnt overwritting the file correctly so i just wiped it and re uploaded it fresh and it worked thanks a tick guys
