I'm having an odd problem in that UX won't save my skin choice anymore on boot. It will always boot to the default skin. Granted, I only played with it for an hour or so last night. Is there some folder on E I should be flushing out? It seems like an odd bug to me. Thanks again UX! I think that DelayLoad is a great idea as well!

What FTP app are you using, I am getting getting full speed 10,000k for larger files and drops to around 4,500k for smaller ones, even less if there are a bunch of small ones but that is a problem with all FTP apps and servers.

I also get 10,000kbps when I download files and 6,000kbps when I upload files. Your slow speeds can be the result of a number of things:

1) Slow network connection
2) Slow xbox hard disk (usually the stock ones are very slow)
3) There's other activity going on on your network besides the file transfer.
4) You're doing something else (cpu intensive) on your computer during the transfer. I noticed that before, on my non-hyperthreading cpu, that my file transfer was taking pretty much 100% of my cpu cycles, so if I did anything else it would slow it down to a crawl.

Those are the only ones I can think of now.

@MD,
Yeah, it's because I'm mapping some KB input with gamepad event, and the "a" char has the focus. I did it so its easier to use the KB for navigation. I'll change it so that KB input gets priority over the gamepad and getaway with translation/mapping when in text editor. So all keys should behave as they should.

@Dunny,
Duh, my bad. I thought I was readjusting the coordinates when custom positioning is used like the vertical layout, but I was wrong. Looks like I may need to release another quick update. I was just done with the DelayLoad attribute and testing it further.

along with the ZIP file bug I found and posted earlier, I also found a few other ones.

Fanspeed Details:

when switching from fanspeed 1 to any higher increment, it works perfectly and sets itself when hitting save like it was designed to.

now switching from any higher speed, (1.5 - 5) back DOWN to 1  and hitting save, it doesn't switch down to 1 . it stays at whatever higher speed it was. say if i switch up to 5 and save and then back down to 1, the fan speed still stays at  5. switching to 1.5 and anything above takes immediately, only bug seems to be when switching back down to 1 from anything above.

also. I found a cosmetic//skin related bug Ill posti n a few as soon as I get some freespace to up my pics from the xbox.

Which game/app is that? Region 7 is a multi-region game like RS6, but it should not lock up.

Hi unleash! Well, I am from Spain and I have a PAL 1.0 Xbox. I have Grand Theft Auto Double Pack NTSC-M in the HDD, but UnleashX recognice them (GTA games) as Homebrew (region 0). I have hex-edited the xbe's of the games following the XBE'S Causitk Documentation (you know, the pointer that goes to the certificate image and there you find the game region). The value of the region (4 bytes) was 0x07000004. To set it to NTSC-M I changed it to 0x01000000, and then UnleashX detected it as NTSC-M as is supposed to be.
I wish this help to improve the NTSC/PAL detection.

I think DelayLoad will fix this problem....once its implemented. Is this happening EVERY time you access that menu? Next time dont back out of the submenus so fast, let the dash generate the submenu. It only needs to generate it once....I found if I waited for the submenus to generate, then dash would work great, untill i had to reboot, shutdown, or do an IGR...but like I said, for now...wait for the submenu to generate before you back out...sounds like UnleashX will implement DelayLoad on the next build....you can then tell the dash to load your submenu at boot (longer boot time) or wait till it loads on demand(quicker boot time, but if you have a very long submenu, you may experience some problems.)
