Do somebody know when the new release will be released?

LL

I can't tell you when it will be released... but I can tell you, that you from what I've heard there are too be some superb new features in the next release... Still I wish that BenJeremy and UnleashX would combine the best features of MXM and UnleashX and work together to develope the Ultimate XBOX Dashboard (suggested name).  Not that I think this is ever going to happen... working with someone else on a project is tough, especially when you've already got your own vision of what you want your project to be... more then likely the two will continue to share information with each other (and other devs), but continue on their own seperate projects...

BenJeremy and UnleashX combined.... that would be the SHIT!!!

Don't think so. Diversity is good. Competition is good. There should be several competing dashboards.

grebulon,

They're aren't in some kind of competition (at least that is what UnleashX has stated before).  I see it as them all developing for the betterment of the community... at least that's what I hope they're doing... Speaking of the betterment of the community... I think it would be better if all the dashboards were opensource (like MXM)... Please no comments, as this has been rehashed 10 bazillion times... knowing that is may or may not ever happen.. I still think it would be better for the scene...

RSS Newsfeed bug? http://www.evolution...o/newsfeeds.htm
I done that, and it is standard XML RSS Newsfeed (heck i copied the form from
xbox-scene.com and just duped it with my own entries)

None of all those listed there work, yet with a standard RSS NewsFeed Reader
http://www.feedreader.com it works fine, maybe check out what's going wrong
on it?

Small bug redrawing the menu:

- Add a wrong action item to the menu, like
 <Item Action="YadaYada">This won't work</Item>
- Select the item from the menu
- An error dialog opens

While the error dialog is displayed, the menu is erased. The menu will be redrawn only after you close the dialog.

Not much, I know, just something I noticed.

Hey UX, great job on the dash.  I love it and want it as my default, but don't know how.  Someone sent me a file that tells you how edit the Config.xml file and a little about installation, but it didn't work when I was trying to install it.  Any help here?

@Mage,
You speak Japanese? Hmn, I don't know if I can do something about that but it's the XDK libs that's giving me the song name, so I'm not sure, but I'll try to find out how I can counter this.

@jetyun,
Try to start without the config.xml and let the dash create one for you. All you needed to do is put UnleashX to where your dash is right now and name it the same (don't forget to rename your old dash first).

@pantera6925
Error 2 = ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND. Looks like a flakey disc to me. It can see the directory entry, but not the file itself, or is corrupted.

You have to press A twice in the skin selector. First time to select the skin, second time to exit the skin selector. If you press A and B, you select the skin until the next reboot (B will exit the selector).
This is a nice feature but it causes confusion to many newcomers. Perhaps B should be replaced with another button.
