Okay, the only replicable problem I've seen so far is the Xbox version being V1.1+, instead of the real V1.0. I haven't checked the Chip ID yet, but I will later. DVD dongle on port 4 is okay, I've had mine on port 4 ever since.

If you don't see your Drive G, enable it from the settings and you should see it immediately after you save it. It's disabled by default.

As for the communicator issue, sorry I can't test it yet. I don't have one but I'll try to get one.

As for the freezing on bootup, if you don't see the Xbox logo fade, the dash ain't loaded yet, thus, is out of my hand already. I have experienced this as well, but using UnleashX or Evox seems to not matter, it just happens. Right now, I'm leaning towards BIOS issue but I really can't say for sure.

It would help a lot if you tell me your setup: What BIOS are you using? Are you using it as an app or dashboard? Please provide as much info as you can, and if necessary, post your config.xml (edit it, I just need the settings section).

I really like UnleashX, but one thing really puts me off :-)
I can't ftp to it from my Mac with Transmit running under OSX 10.3/Panther.  It connects and logs in OK, but fails getting a file listing etc... Really disappointing since you have been working on the ftp server... In one of the earlier builds it was rock solid! (BTW I might have been running OSX 10.2, same Transmit version when it worked). You must have made some major changes??? It would be great to get it working again!

Regarding the freeze on boot: I installed it on a machine and it froze with the X logo up but dimmed. So UnleashX had loaded... Reboot didn't help. So I booted from DVD, deleted the config file and rebooted. It worked. Then I fired up XBMP (remember I can't get UX:s ftp to work) and ftp:d over the SAME config file again. Rebooted and everything worked fine.... Could be the config became corrupt, could be some other thing, anyhow this worked for me.

on to my real request, I would just LIKE to see a "summary" page at then end of a game copy, like in dvd2xbox saying how many were renamed and patched and all that... makes me feel a little more secure. Till then I'll keep using dvd2xbox for peace of mind.

Just noticed something this second!
when you are xfer'ing in ftp and it goes to auto shut down should the "warning shutting down in x seconds" keep comming up and going away?  kind of freaked me out just now

It seems there's a little problem with the DVD autolaunch function.

It does launch at the 1st time though, but once I pressed the eject&reset button to get back the Unleashx dash, then put the DVD tray back in, the dash would detect the movie disk, but it won't launch automatically.

I'm using the XBOX DVD kit, X2 4976.02 bios, and have set the oringinal MS dash as my DVD player.

I've tested unleashx with Transfer and had the same bug in this version. I would recommend Fetch, which does work on my test system using Panther/10.3.

Let me know if you are still having problems. I can probably figure it out for you.



---Edited to say: I haven't tried PASV mode in Transfer. You may want to try that. I'm at work for 11 more hours so I can't test right now

After installing the new version, I turned my soundtrack back on and my xbox had frozen once. I'm not sure if it was after the X was dimmed or not, but I have turned off my soundtrack for now. I haven't had much chance to test it.. maybe tonight I can boot up my xbox a few dozen times to see if it freezes again.

I've also noticed that when I IGR out of a game, when UnleashX comes back up, it's switched back to the basic skin again.  This has happened to me since the first version.

im not having the igr skin issues...
if you are
maybe list what bios your using...
and after how many igr's does the skin or dash fail...
im sure its hard to trouble shoot with out knowing what variables could be causing the issues.
id say if your reporting a bug, list:

bios version
xbox version
any kind of hardware you might have ie: large hdd ect...
or any software variables like  if you had music running or videos playing at the time...

with more info getting to unleash maybe the few "flaws" this dash has can be resolved.

grade A dash by the way just replaced my mxm with it...thats saying alot!

Must be something to do with skins.
IGR works flawless with music on/off random/not random on the DEFAULT skin.

Just IGRd like 18 times with music on and not 1 crash.

Ayone have any suggestions?

hmmm im not positive but this sounds like some kinda memory leak with the music player...
the music player was causing problems in the last realese too if im correct, for now just to be 100% stable you might just want to run the dash with out music...

Oh I understand that... I just was wondering about the count down box kept dropping and saying 29 seconds over and over... I thought that maybe like the screen saver as long as there was activity the counter didn't start at all.  I guess i rather it this way that way if I leave it won't stay on for an hour for no reason.
