the nfo file on Xbins says only WMA support.  And that's for the newest version.  I dunno' MP3's won't work for me.  I have a question, can u make custom soundtracks from ur PC to send to the Xbox?  So I can use the music in games without needing to rip the music via original dash and create soundtracks via original dash.  And what folder do you put soundtracks in for games to read?

edit - I thought my lack of MP3age might be 'cause I had 1218A instead of 1224A, but I just got 1224A and tested, Nope, still doesn't work.

Maybe I miss read it then.  Yes you can transfer WMA from the PC to the Xbox and edit the soundtrack datafile, you need to get Xbox Soundtrack Editor, should be in the xbins.

I've noticed a bit of a problem with the ftp server - but the behaviour depends on the ftp client used.  Using FlashFXP on my PC is fine, but when I use Fetch (OSXO or a CLI ftp client I get the following:

> ftp xbox
Connected to xbox.
220 XBOX FTP ready.
Name (xbox:xbox): xbox
331 Password required for xbox
Password:
230 Welcome to XBOX FTP Server
Remote system type is UnleashX.
ftp> dir
502 "EPSV" not implemented - Try HELP.
227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,1,3,155,56)
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for directory list.

ftp>

basically, the server keeps sending volume size info back to the client, confusing the heck out of it!

It doesn't happen if you go to a directory deeper than the C/D/E/F/X/Y/Z level.

Matt.

You must not be using the new Version, as he took out the Drive free space with v0.25.1218a and the interum build.

The Interum build seems to be more stable, especially if you have the soundtracks off, but I still run into problems with skins that have the Chip_ID in them.  I didn't have this problem with the previous version to v0.25.1218a.
