Can I ask a stupid question?
Is there any danger of damaging my CHEAPMOD mod chip by simply changing the boot up order, sorry, Im just the nervous type....

not a stupid question, and no there is no danger, as long as you have an evox boot disk that has the proper network settings to allow to FTP back into your box incase something retarded happends.

do you have a bootdisk that works in your xbox?

No Problem. I must admit it would be great to take screenshots in game, but I think it would need to be done in the bios as the xbox can't run more than 1 xbe at the same time.

Still it's good for tutorials and skinners.

The "proper" way to do it would be to use XBTool and edit the boot order of your bios, then flash the modchip with the new bios. You could then set it to say,....

xboxdash.xbe

and name the dash's xbe's accordingly.

and that tutorail fucked upped  my 1.1 xbox font modded with evox and biso loader 1.3 bios version 4977 sad.gif

ok...just tried UnleashX.... really nice, i'm liking it better than Evox... but, i can't seem to get and background music playing.. also, there is no IGR, which i really liked with evox... umm, what else... oh yea, go into system, misc.. and the open DVD tray doesnt work, it just reboots the xbox... my MS Dashboard isnt working anymore when i choose it from the main menu, it just goes to the green grid and reboots... if you don't like all the text/info on the skin, just edit the Skin.xml of each skin to not show it, i really liked being able to do that without having to make a skin for it... other than that, its a really great start, keep up the good work.

ive never understood why someone would want IGR in thier dash when its already in the x2 bios at hardware level.

In my experience (and from reading of others' experiences on the forums), BIOS IGR is much more reliable than dashboard IGR.  I'd rather have it in the BIOS.
