Yeah it's still being worked on. Right now there are two main projects underway. They will be two totaly different skins. But take today for instance, it's 9:17 am, I worked 12 hours today, and Im going to bed. So no scripting, meshing, or photoshop for me tonight. Since we've had so many people try and claim our work as their own the team has been thinned down, and JbOnE is working on other projects along with UIX. It's definitely not getting the attention it deserves at this point what are ya gonna do?. All I can say is the xbe is everything I could need right now so no complaints about J's part.

Practically the whole UIX team has City of Villians so we mess around in there and talk about it when we're not scripting or whatever.

I'll try to get some pics up pretty soon. Maybe a vid or something.

I....I just really want the dashboards I saw years ago, that had sooo much potential....years ago. Not seeing anything for so long now, its painful.

That means UIX 3.0 released in like what, a week or so?!?!?!?

Heet, Keel, aka ILTB, pointed out that Evox117 was reading the wrong channel on EFnet.

What I can tell you is UIX is more then one dash at this point. Technically it's just one dash, but it's more then one user interface. There is more then one style. The M$ style would be the regular skin for UIX. Everyone is familiar with it, and I and a couple other members of the team are working on another style. most xbox users will be familiar with it. The styles can be reskinned themselves. Color presets, meshes, pics... the regular skinning stuff. But how the dash moves and sounds is completely different.

Like I could make an evox style real easy. Skinners could drop in the background and loading pics and recolor the text and uix would look just like evox, act like evox, but have the stuff UIX 2 has that evox doesn't. (like BG music and sound) Just don't get your hopes up on that one.

But making styles from scratch takes a ton of effort. EVERY menu has to be scripted from nothing. The style I've been putting all my effort into is winding down to the last 20% I'd say. Though the more I work on it, the more I want it to do. so who knows if that's a solid 20% or not

There are a couple menus I dont feel a secondary style HAS to have so I might cut my work short, and if there's enough interest I'll update the skin with the additional menus. Personaly, I couldn't care if the general public gets the dash or not. But I'm working on it for myself, and the few loyal people that have stuck with the team over the years.

As I've mentioned before CoV and other things have gotten the teams attention. Lord knows I love Xmugen. But I've made a promise to myself and more then a couple people I'll keep. Not sure when I'll be able to deliver but it will happen.
