Just tell it to not use DVD-X2; it will use the tHc dash instead (I assume that's what you're talking about since you're in this forum).  If you're going from another dash (i.e. Avalaunch), point it at xboxdash.xbe or tHc.xbe for the DVD player instead of DVD-X2.  Nothing else is required.
