How Do I Use Xdahs Utils?

I can get xdashutils to work and i add menus etc. then i buil menu and it builds fine then it wants me to locate WINXIP. i do that and i gotta resign Dash with new xips but when i load xboxdahs.xbe (Modded one) my pc freezes. am i doing something wrong? do i need to load anything in WINXIP b4 resigning?
