I was getting sick of the live tab on my m$ dash that boots on c. Now with the dah i have on f at the mo i had no trouble getting it to boot with f, just replaced partition3 with 6 in the xboxdash.xbe file (still with me?!). But when i look to replace the relavent part in the the 4034 xboxdash.xbe its not there! So any tips on how i can get a complete working 4034 dash to work on and be mapped to f, while stile having a working non-fiddled with xbox live 2 dash on c?

How the hell do you hex edit my dash to boot to the E or F? I have Hex Workshop and i dunno what to do.

so same prob as me? I can find the relavent section no probs with an xboxdash.xbe from a dashboard which has the live tab!!

works like a treat! What had confussed me was that in a live updated dash there were more links to partition2 than in an non live upadated dash!

PEOPLE DONT LISTEN TO THIS

IF YOU DELETE YOUR FONTS YOU ARE FUCKED !!!!

MSDash wont work at all
and mybe he deleted the 2 in the rooT of C:
i dunno, but NEVER delete the 2 found in the fonts folder, MSDash will give you Error21 everytime.

also you only need to change 1 instance not 6-7 ??

just find dashdata and just before it you will see the number 2, change the 2 to whatever partition number you like, use boXplorer and press start to check for your correct numbers
