Okay, let's forget this whole get a chip buisness, all i want to know is if someone knows what i need to do (using the software mod) in order for me to get a properly working M$ dash hack. I apreciate all other comments, but they aren't helping me none. Besides i have a modded box on the way. Thanks.

search for xboxdashdata and change it to xboxdashhack>msdash.xbe<

Then rename >>xboxdashdata.1012A700<< folder on PC to >>xboxdashhack.1012A700<

Now ftp folder to C: and it should work.If u don't see any menus then look @ the config.xap and make sure u edited it right.Cux for some reason if u didn't add a game or ect.. right you will see the menu but very very small.

cant blame him for not wanting a chip, if i had known this would be possible, i wouldnt have gotten one either.... Although i do love being able to turn the mod on and off with ease, so i guess it depends on what your cup of tea is.

get "Music_Easy_Config_v_0_3" and in there is a freash copy of config.xap then just open it up and add ur games and all of the other stuff.Make sure you re-assign the xip.
