Possible To Add Shutdown Button After Dvd Playing?

I use XBMP v2.4 as my dash, but boot into a patched region-free MS Dash for DVD playing. Now, XBMP very handily has a shut-down button on the main menu, which I use when I've finished watching films etc, but once a DVD finishes in the MS Dash, I'm just left with a green X-Box screen and have to turn the thing off manually.

Is there any way to add a link to shutdown.xbe or reboot.xbe to the DVD Player's "stopped" screen?

Before someone suggests using the X2 IGR, I've got no controller connected, just the MS remote.
