Yeah, this is happening in all scripts now.  BJ, can you change it back, or change it to atleast a black background?

wink.gif ).  MXM is in C:\ (duh) and the script is in C:\Scripts.  The dialog xml is in C:\Scripts, but the dialog doesn't load unless the full path is specified.

LoadDialogFromFile YESNODialog YESNODialog.xml
--loads a blank dialog

LoadDialogFromFile YESNODialog c:\Scripts\YESNODialog.xml
--loads the right dialog

As for text colors, I've cleaned that up quite a bit. The new "WIP" binaries should be up by the time I post this.

I've also added support for images, ENABLE, and VISIBLE.

Is this how this is suppossed to work

<Control Type="editboxsingle" CtrlID="106">
 <rect t="120" l="30" b="150" r="240" />
 <Visable>false</Visable>
</Control>

Ive tried it and

<enabled>false</enabled>

And it dosn't seem to work

Using WIP 1172

I don't know if it's still there but BJ added a  Color atrribute for EditBoxes a few builds back. I think he said it was a temp fix

<Color>0xFF0000FF</Color>

Something has changed in this WIP, because all skins do it.

For BJ:
LoadDialogFromFile has bad 'xml pathing' (used that term only coz you call it that wink.gif ).  MXM is in C:\ (duh) and the script is in C:\Scripts.  The dialog xml is in C:\Scripts, but the dialog doesn't load unless the full path is specified.

LoadDialogFromFile YESNODialog YESNODialog.xml
--loads a blank dialog

LoadDialogFromFile YESNODialog c:\Scripts\YESNODialog.xml
--loads the right dialog

OK, I'll take a look at that. It should be using the "current directory" of the ActionScript file.

Try "visible"  and "enable"

Color, BackColor, and BorderColor can all be changed. I may change the default value of BackColor, which is causing some problems.

I would of thought the same value for menu background would be right for the editboxes

Well, it might be an opacity issue.... Edit Boxes force the opacity to "full" when in focus.

Obviously, the way that's handled needs more work.  blink.gif

I'm trying to compromise between visibility and tying it to the skin color schemes.

Ok I dont know squat about the programming of mxm but isn't it as easy as changeing the alpha value of the background color string to 0xFF instead of say 0xAA or what ever it is

Well, the idea was to increase the opacity when in focus. For a skin like Simplicity, it works like a charm. Give me a chance to consider some options and I'll post a new version tonight that tackles the problem.

are there any plans to re-work the XML handling of mxm.xml in this script?  like to use the existing file, but just update it (but still back it up)?

maybe there was something screwy with my mxm.xml to begin with, but this script really frelled up my mxm.xml (the backup) and the new one it created only contains network stuff.
