;##############################
;# Script: IP Changer
;# Authors: Jezz
;# Original Concept: KoldFuzion and DBZRacer
;# Date: 02-17-2004
;# Version: 3
;# Filename: ipdialog.xas
;# Purpose: To allow for actionscript network settings editing
;#          By using new UI Dialogs
;#
;# Install: For now the two dialog xml Files
;#          Need to be in your root mxm dir
;#          Easy to change if you no how but it works
;#          for the test.  Might put them in a MXMDialogs dir
;#          one day but for now in root mxm dir
;#
;#          Just call ipdialog.xas as you normally would
;#

can you go 2x2, would that make it better?

Shorten the editable text a little (test size with 888.888.888.888) and put it in two columns?

BJ, I really love how much cleaner the AS text looks now too.

That is so inspiring, not that I haven't been messing around with dialogs myself

QUOTE (-FourDoor- @ Feb 17 2004, 12:13 AM)
Only teeny bitty request is to change "DBZRacer" to "FourDoor"  wink.gif

FourDoor Name change in Next version

Originally it was one dialog with 2 radio buttons at the top one for static and one for dhcp I was trying to get all the edit boxes to become "greyed out" when dhcp was selected but BJ hasn't implimented that yet plus I ran into a bug with the second radio button being always selected at start (see my other post in this section).

When these are fixed I will probably change it back again

Did anybody notice it uses the same YESNODialog.xml 3 times with diffent text and buttons displayed each time and diffent actions for the buttons. I thought I did a real good job on that smile.gif

Now if BJ will let me recall a lost dialog again with the same handle I could make the script alot smaller

Yeah that is great, its kinda of a good way to structure things like a SetSomeVar in a script, its just good practice...

Very nice stuff.

Sorry about the keyboard jumping around.... remember, it's a general purpose routine, part of the "big picture" for this UI. The only way to alleviate the issue is to redesign the dialogs a bit.

As for text colors, I've cleaned that up quite a bit. The new "WIP" binaries should be up by the time I post this.

I've also added support for images, ENABLE, and VISIBLE.

I still have to look at that issue on the radio buttons.
