how many seconds long is the cross fade from the title screen to the interface and the interface to the load screen? is there a way to disable  the crossfade?

<FadeIn>FALSE</FadeIn>

In the layout you are switching to.

am i entering this right? it only seems to work with the title, but after that every fade still happens.

<Layout Screen="Menu">

<FadeIn>False</FadeIn>

<LayoutElement Type="Image" Source="stage">
<Scaling X="True" Y="True"/>
<Pos L="1" T="0" W="640" H="480"/>
</LayoutElement>
</Layout>

I believe that you need to put in the <Fadein>Flase</Fadein> in every layout that you dont want to fade in, so put it into the loading, screensaver, and title layouts if you dont want anything to fade in.
