Oh well, worth a shot I guess.

I'm going to remove the scroll. I will include the current file in along with the skin, but it wont be the default one.

It will be in the news later tonight along with NHL Hits Pro preview video.

and if you are wondering what the hack was to do it.. its simple a crapload of elements on a huge timer.

You know how stereo receivers have names like "Kenwood - HTB805DV". Maybe this skin's name should be something like "MXM - XB950DVG". Well, you get the idea. Let me know what you think.

My dumb ass had an extra set of preview video/thumb in the xml.. which contributed greatly to the slowdowns.

Well, newsgroups are a cinch if you use a decent client for binaries, like newsbin, but failing that, anybody that wants the latest and greatest files should consider the investment of $10 a month to an excellent service like news2me.com - which is WEB BASED. No clients... just pages of binaries to download, in an easily searchable format.

It's well worth it. They say you are limited to 1.67GB per day, 50GB total per month, but... I downloaded 89GB last month, with 50GB over the daily limits - and didn't pay a single penny extra. Even so, that WOULD have been 50 cents per GB, which is downright cheap.

(WTF did I downlaod to rack up all those GB? bBelieve it or not, it was not porn.... but it might have been shadowy "gray area" material - old TV shows not available on DVD/VHS anywhere, and not ever to be shown again on TV. I'm sure my fellow MST3K fans will agree)

Is it possible to use the bounce modifier? And not have any vertical room for the object to move?

i thought about trying it.. but i dont think you have control over the bounce speed do you? anything more than 5pixels per 100ms is too hard to read

I believe that was music that he had ripped to his xbox, there is no official music that comes with the skin, sorry. If you want, the Halo soundtrack isnt too hard to find, just take a looksy in your usual music spots.
