Yuyu requested it.. so here it is. JLM and myself stayed up pretty late to get this far and there is still lots of work to go but this will give you the picture, if not the audio too

constructive critics speak up

Gonna have a LED made from video so the lights move and change and we are hoping to get the scrolling text workign for the song/news. ( I havent tried it yet)

that is AWESOME looking! How are you gonna get the EQ to do something? or is it gonna be a prerendered vid? so many new skins coming out as of late it's great! i never get tired of seeing the new skin topics it actually makes me excited to see that everyone is making good use and thoroughly enjoying MXM

Also i did not know there was a scrolling text option in MXM? would that be for the songs being displayed kind of like the winamp song scrolling? if so that would kick ass and add alot more options and space to a skin i'll be working on shortly

There isnt, its going to be a hack. hopefully it will turn out right.

Worse case, it doesnt work out and all songs/news get little room to been seen.

BTW Koldfuzion... Coldfusion does kick ass, our teacher got us free enterprise editions of 6.1 to use for testing purposes, at the end of the semester hes giving us access to one server each at his company... Says we are one of his best classes yet..

It looks great. A video for the LEDs will be sweet. The only thing I can see that my be a problem, but it's not really, is the screws getting cut off on some TVs.

I was kinda expecting that, but its just minor cosmetics.

I will be working on the leds, and the scrolling text this evening. If I get them both done, or when i do, I will post a preview vid.

Constructive (hopefully):

Text too dark
Red color doesnt look good- maybe try green?
Maybe its just the screenshot but the buttons have a black border at the top

That's about it

I have an idea on how to make the specturm analyzer using MXM's gadgets. Not sure how it would help though (just more work)

Text really isnt that dark once you see it on your TV screen, the screenshot produces that effect. As for the red color, we are still playing with that, nothing is final at the moment, but its not likely to change.

I LOVE it. I think this will be a great dash. Neon blue would look great for the text color.

Please do continue skinning; it was so good to see rush of new skin threads after quite a long dead time. Well, I guess I should keep working on skinner.
