Glad to hear you are doing an Audio version of it...
Do you mind if after you release it i mess around with it to make a dvd only version?

you can add drive G support to ANY skin.

Just look for something like this in the skin.

       <LayoutElement Type="Text" Source="shortdriveFfree">
           <Pos l="35" t="175" w="153" h="20" />
      <Scale x="false" y="true" />
      <TextColor>0x93FFFFFF</TextColor>
              <ShadowColor>0xFF800000</ShadowColor>
      <DoGlow>True</DoGlow>
      <ShadowSize>1</ShadowSize>
      <Proportional>true</Proportional>
        </LayoutElement>

Copy and past it again right below it.. changing the Position and Source.
as long as the skin offers the room to add it that is.

For example, below the element above I would put:
       <LayoutElement Type="Text" Source="shortdriveGfree">
           <Pos l="35" t="200" w="153" h="20" />
      <Scale x="false" y="true" />
      <TextColor>0x93FFFFFF</TextColor>
              <ShadowColor>0xFF800000</ShadowColor>
      <DoGlow>True</DoGlow>
      <ShadowSize>1</ShadowSize>
      <Proportional>true</Proportional>
        </LayoutElement>

yourwishismine learning how to show driveG wouldn't be hard to do i'll give you that
but the big point there was that the skins that aren't designed to show
G don't have the room in the skin to just add it
i guess you guys feel smarter or something when your cutting down stuff other people ask                               hope your IQ went up at least 50 points with that statement
funny how koldfuzion just answered the question with out the criticism (thanx kf)
if your going to design skins to share with others and show off your skill why not consider
what they want in it  i may be wrong but i'm probably not the only one with MXM using G

Kudos on the nice background pic but that looks to me like everything else aside from the background is the exact same as the livewire/audiowire skin.  From the font to the layout of every item looks identical? If this is true did you have permission to do so? I'll assume so because jlm5151 and koldfuzion replied and havent said anything.

Yep, he has all the permission in the world. I almost let that background go to waste, forgot I even had it. I gladly let him utilize it and put it to good use.  smile.gif

I did ask as he stated hell he gave it to me. I was only going to make it for myself but, if people like it then ill post it. You are corect it is the same as some of his other skins. I like his skins, all I did was throw it together and change the text color and did a icon overlay(needs work). I like dark skins and thought it was cool. The Livewire and Audiowire thing is his but was kind of adopted as the standerd name for Newsfeeds and Songtrack.

I wasn't trying to sound arrogant... but more just trying to encourage people to look into the xml files... and yes, I know a lot of people are using the drive g: ... I'll make a quick suggestion... skinners can of course easily provide updates to the skins, but simply posting a new xml file which supports drive g... for the people that use drive g... I was also just saying that it's real nice to not have to worry about having a drive g at all... and just using drive f... as large... anyway... sorry if my post was insulting... I do appologize... please.. take a hour or so to look at the xml files in others skins... it's a great way to learn....
