My problem is i'm trying to get the CurrentSong to display for 10 seconds and then have the CurrentSoundtrack display for 5 seconds on my skin, and i have had no luck whatsoever the Song does display for 10 seconds and the Soundtrack for 5 seconds but after awhile it goes out of sync the Song displays on top of the Soundtrack after, i was trying for at least an hour tonight to get it so it wouldn't go out of sync but no luck, maybe its not possible or my timing is off sad.gif but if someone can help me i would very greatly appreciate it.

beerchug.gif here is the correct timing for getting the song to display for 10 seconds then the soundtrack name for 5 seconds, it stays in sync too smile.gif

BTW BenJeremy do you think we'll ever be able to use the Justify tags with the currentsong or current soundtrack in the future? it's no biggie really i would just like it, because it looks more clean when you can have things in each corner

blink.gif i wanted the soundtrack and song name to stay on the right side of the screen, instead of in the middle, i compromised though and just put the soundtrack and song info all the way on the left side of the screen instead of fighting it

It says in the skinning overview document that it works for some layout elements, i've tried it with a few of the tags and it didn't make a difference if the justification tags were there or not, they just defaulted to the left? i put them just like they show in the document too blink.gif i wanted the soundtrack and song name to stay on the right side of the screen, instead of in the middle, i compromised though and just put the soundtrack and song info all the way on the left side of the screen instead of fighting it

Perhaps you weren't using it correctly?

The System Info screen is done with justification (if you have the source code, you can see the layout code for it in the internal.xml file)

All strings are rendered the same way. Justification would not "work for some, but not for others" - it would either work or not work for all strings.

Remember to use x,y tags for Pos (instead of l,t)
And remove the width attribute if you want to justify X. (for text elements only)

biggrin.gif thanks a bunch for the help guys, you guys were right i wasn't using them correctly, I removed the L,T and replaced them with X,Y and removed the Width from the elements like geniusalz said and it's all gravy now, the info that i wanted on the right side of the screen...is on the right side now and resizes itself accordingly, I'll put the xml down below for reference if anyone (myself) tongue.gif might ever need it again, thanks again guys beerchug.gif
