everyones a critic, and has their own preferences, but i thought i would ask anyways to help prevent a font/color/ "doesnt fit my screen problem" from the get-go.

whats wrong or needs to be fixed before i get further into this skin?

hey that looks pretty cool!
the edges of those windows (source and data) may fall off the screen, have you tested this?

no i havent tested yet. I am anticipating a little bit of a loss on the edges, thats a gimme. I think I left enough to cover the safe zone, but i lost my overlay, so im kinda guessing.

Hey Kold, I thought of that one when I bought the extreme edition. I hope you can do something with it. I was going to work on the T2 face factory, but its in that damn macrovision. Good luck. Btw, Im working on a Futurama skin.

yea, T2 is still up there on my favorite movies of all time list and Ive always been a huge fan of the DD,DTS,THX trailers. So I had no choice but to do one.

Can I ask what programs you used to make it? I would be interested in playing around with it to create intros for some home vids I am converting to DVD.

The intro is awesome but the text boxes look a little small. It appears as though the words may be too large for those screens. I hope the fonts aren't too small. I guess, you need to test it out with some words on it to get a better idea if it will work or not.

the intro is from the Terminator 2 DVD. its a THX trailer and there is another version without the sign called cavalcade. I have every THX,DTS, Dolby Digitla trailer made (that I know of) and use them regularly in my own projects.

I used Photoshop for the mxm logo, and adobe affter effects to put it in the video in front of the original sign. Then I faded the sign out right when Arnold shoots the sign.

The 'door closing' is just 3 photoshot images (each holding its own piece of the door) and location changed in the timeline to finish out the intro.

There are websites out there that have these available for download. I used the Dolby Ditigial 'game' trailer for the games category recently. If you can find the trailers after a google...let me know and can make them available via link. Here, I will save you a google.

I think the only trailer i dont have is the 'Jungle' one. I have the audio but have never been able to find a video version. If you have this or know what dvd it might be on...please let me know. I think it might have only came out on Laserdisc.

Again, its from the dvd. The image is from the menus although it has been edited quite heavily. I was hoping I could make it skinnable and had to break it apart to fit it into the intro and eventually the loading screen.

If AXS doesnt come back today im going to make the text up for it and see how it turns out. Otherwise I might have to create a custom background. I really wanted to keep it as close to the dvd as possible though.

Anyways ,i got to get better at these video editing stuff.

So basicaly can i ,with adobe affter effects, blend a image with a video?

If so then i will start playing with this allot to add them to my skins hehe, your intro rocks.

Yes. You can blend images, more than one video, create effects (thus the name) and lose your virginity.

T2 version T.1000 has been released on pimpkidz. Hope you like.
