I havent checked it on mine, but I probably wont have a problem. The older curved-tube tv sets are the ones that will complain about the text being cut off.

Normally if you keep the text about a 1/4" (25-35 pixels) away from all four edges it will work out fine.

I uploaded a quickie skin for lain. I screwed up on the last one and had to start from scratch again so for all you Lain fans I went ahead and made a quick one.
I'm making two, one's a dark and moody one dipicting Lain and the other's setup like the Navi computers in the shows.

You can get it from Axs or my own ftp. It's called Lain Layer 2 (since it's really the second one)
