Thanks to everyone who enjoyed this skin!

Anyone who has already downloaded version 1 should download again.  The first one I posted is missing the 2nd overlay.  There was also some misalignment with the date and time box.  It was too small for a full “xx//xx//xx xx:xx:xxpm”

I really like this theme except for one thing. The flames look a little cheesy the way they are right now. I love the dragon and how the movies play inside the middle jewel.

The 3D'ish look to the menus is ok .. but it could be done a little cleaner. Just some friendly help/critique/criticism. Good luck and keep working on it!

EDIT:  Oh yeah this is all Paintshop Pro, using picture tube for fire and balls and bubbles effect for overlay.

That’s how it works.  If there is no thumb or screen shot the yin shows in the jewel and the flame is solid.  Now I’m working on the tribal flame.  I don’t think I’ll use the mini jewel for the thumb. I’ll just overlay the circular part of the tribal.

I think the last image you posted looks fine.

The hHalo icon throws the look off a hair, because of the other 'circular' image cues (the halo itself, and the planet's edge), but looking at it again, the positioning is fine.

I really liked the one with the fire.  I didn't think it was cheezy.  Maybe post both versions?

Between the two tribal versions, the one at the top with the icon blended in was better, IMO.

Yeh I agree with KAC, in my opinion the first version of the fire looked nicer, especially if it was rolling like you said.
