Hi,
I'm running a X2 chip with a green 4977 BIOS.
Together with the original Matrix-intro of MXM I think the BlackBox skin works best.  This gives the nicest total visual impression.
I combined this with a green skin for XBMP.

I also like Night V1.0 combined with a Blue 4977 BIOS, Patched Blue Matrix Intro of MXM and and the XMP_Original skin for XBMP.

I think that the menu in Livewire is way to slow. I therefore use BlackBox or Night V 1.0 instead.

If there is a way to speed up the menu in LiveWire and a blue or green color available in the colourpack I'll consider using this one.

I have about 7 loading at random.  I was looking a little closer at them last nite.(I have been in a frenzy since getting MXM going, I haven't paid close attention to the dash features)
I really like video overlay.  It looks great to have that enlarged video running behind the menus.  I also think the "Current Track" info that displays the name and track # of the song that's playing is good.  I'ld like to see some skins for 16:9 ratio, but i'm not ready to delve into the depths of skinning yet.

Thanks to the skinners who share thier creations.

I have about 8 or so loaded.  All the ones with animation.  Some of the static skins look really good but it's a waste of MXM power.  I've taken most of the animated skins and modified them to fit my needs.  I removed the newsfeeds (since I don't use it) and replaced it with the song title.  I renamed some of the wording of the menus, like "Livewire :" to "Song title:"  and I also changed some of the static screensavers with the Wasteland screensaver.  I did keep one or two static skins but I modified those too by adding a menu video for the main menus like the way Wasteland has theirs set up except that I chose a different video.

I changed my skins often.  But right now I'm using 'Blackbox'.

I'm using Halowresource for now, love the game to bits and it's pretty smooth.

Well the "slow menu" problem is due to the newsfeeds. There is a problem with MXM bringing in too much info from the feed causing it to slow down.

All the skins in the new updated LiveWire v2.1  pack will come with the screensaver from WasteLand, along with a few other enhancements, such as a "real" intro and outro.
